Dr. Roshan B.A.Rao is a Surgical Oncologist did his Medical Graduation from M.R.Medical College Gulbarga and passed D.N.B General Surgery from St. Martha’s Hospital Bangalore and did his Member of Royal College of Surgery (M.R.C.S) Edinburgh in 2009. He passed D.N.B Surgical Oncology from Inlaks Budhrani Hospital and MNB Cancer Institute, Pune.
He has earlier worked in Surgical Oncology at Manipal Hospital, Bangalore, Ruby Hall Clinic in Pune, Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology and HCG, Bangalore and has gathered over three years of experience after completing his training in Surgical Oncology in 2011.
He has been trained in holistic General Oncology and as such operates on all systems that cover the domain of Surgical Oncology – Head & Neck Cancers, Breast and Gynaecological Malignancies, Hepatobiliary and Gastrointestinal Malignancies, Thoracic Malignancies as well as Bone and Soft tissue Tumors. He acquired additional training in newer techniques of Surgical Oncology like sentinel lymph node biopsy, hypothermic intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC) for peritoneal carcinomas and all endoscopic procedures and endoscopic interventions.
