Time flies, but memories linger. I fondly remember the year 2003, when the beautiful structure of Malnad Hospital and Institute of Oncology (MHIO) came into being between the Shimoga – Bhadravathi cities on B.H.Road. I can’t express my delight and contentment in words at having seen this legendary institution move up the value chain in quick time  to become the first Comprehensive Cancer Care Center in Shimoga and Malnad Region, equipped with Linear Accelerator, Brachytherapy and Diagnostic facilities. Thanks to a dedicated team effort, MHIO is carved a niche in providing quality of life and Care to Cancer Patients, focused on better Cosmesis, Effective Rehabilitation and Optimal Hospital Stay.

 I wish MHIO sterling and susutainable success in all its endeavors including Sun rise initiatives like CME programs, as also the installation of CT and PET CT Equipment. I am confident that MHIO will grow from strength to strength towards becoming a premier regional player making Cancer Care accessible and affordable in the same breath.
